Every Thursday Night, at Lake County Speedway, DriftCleveland will be hosting drift practice for anyone who wants to learn how to drift or just wants to experience going sideways.
The entry is $20 for drifting from 5pm until sundown, and to spectate is only $5, so make sure to bring all your friends! All you need to drift is a RWD platform, and preferably a manual to make things more exciting. We will also be giving lessons to whoever is interested, and even ride-along tips.
Don't worry, if you don't have a car of your own yet, but you really would like to experience drifting from inside the car, just ask one of our drivers, and we'll be happy to take you around the track sideways!

DriftCleveland is a drift team founded in 2007 around Cleveland, Ohio. We hope to attract more interest to drifting, and expand the drift scene in the North-East Ohio. Drifting is a challenging and exhilarating sport that can be fun and safe if performed in the correct environment. "The Drift Effect" - Drift Competition (August 15)!
DriftCleveland is hosting "The Drift Effect", a semi-professional drift competition at Lake County Speedway on August 15, 2010!
This event will have a $4000 purse ($1500 for first place, $1000 for second place, etc) plus trophies. The event will be held on a Sunday, though extra practice will be available on Saturday morning for anyone who shows up for the whole weekend. Preregistration is $125, and $150 at the gate, with $20 pit pass for crew members and $10 spectator fees. Judging will be done based on the Formula D 2010 rule book.
