End of 2009 Drift Season!
The end is finally here... thank you Ohio and your shitty weather! Now that winter is about to start... unless global warming has anything to say about it, the drift season will be on hold from November to possibly April 2010. DriftCleveland has had a tough year with two of our drivers having either their engines blown twice, or just not being able to get their car running for the entire season. We hope to have all of our members on the track in the '10 season, and claim some trophies for DriftCleveland. But no worries, our team has managed to place first at Midvale Speedway in June, and also placed second and fourth in August at the same track. Despite half the crew being down for most of the '09 season, DriftCleveland has had its best year yet! |

About DriftCleveland:
DriftCleveland is a drift team founded in 2007 around Cleveland, Ohio. We hope to attract more interest to drifting, and expand the drift scene in the North-East Ohio. Drifting is a challenging and exhilarating sport that can be fun and safe if performed in the correct environment. Our goal is to attend as many events as we can as a team per season, and give it all we got and finish on the top of the podium. |

Winter Driving Safety Tips!
Here at DriftCleveland, we want to make sure that all you drifters and regular drivers out there are properly informed on how to handle a car during the harsh winter conditions. First, if you have another car to drive during winter, please park your drift car and do NOT drive it. Second, if you must drive your drift car in the snow or ice make sure you have good winter tires, or at least refrain from driving a car with bald tires front and back. And third, if you are cheap and decided to get a welded differential for your drift car, please drive VERY carefully during the winter season, or just don't drive it at all. Even our most experienced drivers are known to completely lose it in the winter, driving an SR20 S13 with a welded diff and four bald tires, then smashing into a pole and causing other cars to smash into that same pole. So PLEASE, drive carefully during this beautiful Ohio winter season! |
